Comic-Con unveiled the first teaser trailer to stop-motion animated series SuperMansion, a new adult comedy series that features the voice of Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston.
The show is about an old superhero named Titanium Rex and his equally aging super team called The League of Freedom as they attempt to stay relevant in the modern world. Bryan Cranston voices Titanium Rex (who shares some physical resemblance to him) along with other voice talents such as Ron Perlman, Donald Faison, Jordan Peele, Nick Kroll, Anton Yelchin, Famke Janssen, Breckin Meyer, and even Star Trek and Into the Woods star Chris Pine.
Since the show is from the same creators of the stop-motion Adult Swim series Robot Chicken, one can already anticipate the type of humor SuperMansion will give us and the trailer is already lightly sprinkled with mature jokes. The animation, however, is definitely a step up from Robot Chicken and, with superheroes being a bit of a fad lately, this show will most likely do well. Check out the trailer below:
[UPDATE 7/13/15 12:30 PM] The show is produced by award-winning company, Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, which is run by Seth Green, Matthew Senreich, John Harvatine IV, and Eric Towner. Bryan Cranston serves as executive producer alongside Senreich, Green, Harvatine, Towner, James Degus, Moon Shot Entertainment, and Zeb Wells (who directed and wrote the series and co-created with Senreich).
SuperMansion begins streaming online on Crackle this fall. For more information, visit Cackle’s website.
