FINALLY! After all the behind the scenes drama, the delays, and the story changes we have a trailer for Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur! Without further ado, here it is!
Here’s the official synopsis:
‘The Good Dinosaur’ asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.
The film is scheduled to be released November 25th after a troubled production. Originally directed by Bob Peterson, the movie was delayed and Peterson was replaced with half of the Pixar Brain Trust: John Lasseter, Lee Unkrich, Mark Andrews and Peter Sohn. Last year, John Lithgow, part of the film’s cast, said the story was “completely reimagined,” so what little we know about the movie may no longer be accurate. Even the film’s composer changed: Thomas Newman (Finding Nemo, Wall-E) was replaced by Mychael Danna, a Pixar newbie who will also score the accompanying short film, Sanjay’s Super Team.
What did you think of the trailer? Are you excited for The Good Dinosaur?
