There may be rumors of Isao Takahata possibly directing another Studio Ghibli film, but for now we have to contend with the idea that When Marnie Was There may be the last feature animated film that the studio makes. That being said, we should all savor the moments ahead. CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
GKIDS has finally released the voice cast for the English dub of When Marnie Was There:

The English dub of the film will be released in New York City and Los Angeles on May 22nd with roll out dates in other major US cities after.
A young girl is sent to the country for health reasons; here she meets an unlikely friend in the form of Marnie, a young girl with flowing blonde hair. As the friendship unravels it is possible that Marnie has closer ties to the protagonist then we might expect.
