USA Today has an exclusive look at DreamWorks Animations upcoming animated feature based on the classic characters Mr. Peabody & Sherman, which will release March 7th of next year.
DreamWorks released 6 new stills and this is the first official look on what the movie will look like (DreamWorks already showed some posters with a vague look on the two main characters Mr. Peabody and Sherman).
These 6 new stills show some different situations where the duo will experience. From old Egypt to Italy during the time of Leonardo DaVinci, I’m excited to see which historic characters will ultimately be included in this movie. On the cover of ‘The Art of Mr. Peabody and Sherman’, you can see various history characters such as the inventions from Leonardo DaVinci and Queen Marie Antoinette who ruled French during the French revolution.
The look of this movie is incredible. I love how fluid and smooth everything looks. Mr. Peabody & Sherman has super-refined stop-motion feel to it. With the around-the-world setting, I’m very much getting a The Adventures of Tintin vibe. I’ll be eagerly awaiting to see this film in action, as a trailer is expected around October 25 (just in time to play before Reel FX’s Free Birds).
The movie will feature Mr. Peabody, worlds smartest dog that can talk (voiced by Ty Burrell) and his adopted son Sherman (voiced by Max Charles). When Sherman’s use of their time-traveling WABAC machine causes disastrous and comical results, it is up to them to put things on track before the space-time continuum is irreparably destroyed.
Mr. Peabody & Sherman opens March 7, 2014.
What do you think about the look of the film?
