Disney is launching an Art of Frankenweenie exhibition that tour the world before the stop-motion film opens in theatres. The official Disney press release states that the exhibit will feature concept sketches by Tim Burton, in addition to original props, sets and puppets.
The tour will kick off in Barcelona, Spain at CineEurope during June 18-21. The tour will also hit the U.S. at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con on July 11-15. Along the way, the exhibit will visit a total of seven counties: Spain, France, England, Japan, Mexico, Canada and the U.S.A.
Here are the scheduled dates so far:
■ Barcelona: June 18-21
■ San Diego: July 11-15
■ Mexico City: July 27-Aug. 7
■ Toronto: Aug. 23-26
■ Anaheim: Sept. 14-Nov. 5
■ Madrid: Sept-Oct
■ London: Oct.
■ Paris: Oct. – Nov.
■ Tokyo: Dec.
